Change in Registrations May 1, 2007

In a previous post I eluded alluded to my dislike of using IPs to ban spammers because I was banning regular users from the whole site.

So, I’ve changed how new users register. All registrations go through me. I don’t want this to stop anyone from registering. It’s only necessary until there’s a better solution.

    The forum has a glitch again. I just re-received over a hundred e-mails from my subscriptions going back for a couple of days.

    The last time this happened it was soon followed by a major crack-up of the site.
