I'm an atheist metalhead that loves pretending to be a satanist to scare the balls right off the believers. Being into black metal helps alot too.

Welcome, BlackMetal! Hope you stick around. Tell me, why do you want to "scare the balls right off the believers" by pretending to be a satanist? Do you realize that what you do might be more damaging to the public perception of atheism and atheists than anythine the far right can come up with?

My ears are still ringing from Rob Zombie and Ozzy last week at the Staples center in LA.

Welcome, BlackMetal.
I love metal too, but black metal is a little too far for me. I draw the line at old Metallica and similar bands like that.

With the way things are these days, tellnig them you're an atheist may actually scare them more. ;)

Didn't satanists do better than atheists in that poll about who people would vote for? The most common reasoning given was "at least they have a belief." :P

I'm a huge black metal fan too. I'd have to say Nickelback are probably my favourite band. And the lastest Evanescence album was teh awesomest CD since ever...

Judging from your Location, are you perhaps Swedish? If so, välkommen. If not, colour me vexed. Fellow metalhead here, though it's getting more and more inappropriate to call me one (I don't act neither dress the part). Big fan of electronic music too, I am.

And by Satanist, am I wrong in saying you're probably referring to Luciferianism? Satanism isn't nearly as scary as it sounds - although, I am quite aware of the publics perception of Satanism.

the cult variety, and no i'm not from norway, think 7000 km south east. Moving to norway is a tempting prospect, yes, but i'll think about it after i graduate from university, hopefully berklees.
