Ignore the title. It is just a cheap attention getter; sorta like Christmas.

I am just another in a seemingly long line of atheists ensconced in the diverticuli of the bowels of the bible belt. So, for me, this forum is like that first breath taken after a particularly aggressive session of waterboarding. The air is bad, but at least it's air (just kidding).

I grew up in the Midwest coming to wisdom at about the age of 18, with the dawning feeling that I had wasted my youth chumming it up with a false god. We have since had a less than amicable parting.

I very much look forward to a stimulating exchange of ideas with a side dish of serious trauma to the likes of Francis and Lilly.
