I think the results are completely manufactured. I went back over the questions and couldn't figure out where they got any results on Buddhism.

I also think that the questions were not written very well. Disagree and N/A are not the same and really can't be used effectively to score the answers. For example "Jesus was a historical figure, not a God or prophet." If I disagree, I'm saying that I think he was a God or Prophet. What if I want to disagree based on the fact that I think he is a fictional character? There were quite a few examples of questions that were too leading to be answered in a disagree/agree situation.

Some of the buddhist questions were 'do you not harm animals', 'do you not eat meat', along with many others to do with respecting nature, and probably a whole lot more that we probably cannot distinguish from Hinduism/Paganism because of lack of knowlege.

Sorry, I didn't make my statement very clearly. I see your point but it just seems to me that those questions could not possibly give an accurate representation of a religion. I do agree with you that I couldn't possibly identify all the religious implications of some of the questions but saying that someone is part Buddhist because they don't eat meat or kill animals is like saying a person is Christian because they don't work on Sundays.

It was an interesting test but I think it just serves to show how complicated the issues are that they can't be answered in such a simple format.

Yes, it isn't a conclusive test. However it is still interesting to see how much of the morals of some religions you agree/dissagree with, even if you do not follow them. Accoding to this test i could get pretty chummy to a satanist :D
