If there was a loving personal God would you need to look for him?

I am not a religious person and I don't like to be around addicted personalities, but there is no doubt that we do not know who made billions of stars or who created life. I do wonder if there was a loving god like parent figures full of love and mercy, would anyone need to wonder or search for him or her.

Oh but there is someone looking out for you're backside. YOU. The christians feel god will forgive them for their sins. Thats why I'm not a christian, I take responsibility for my own sins. I must forgive myself for them, therefore, it's easier not to do them to begin with.

Good point mox. I guess the folks who are begging their god for his will to be their gain also blame him when they don't get their way. I know one christian who prays he will get lucky on trips to Vegas. Hell if you beg an imaginary god, anything you want is on the table. He often wins, so maybe his god is good on the numbers.
