Two weird things happened today:
1 - my son's 10th grade algebra class, the substitute teacher asked, for a "couple of good Christian kids to come up front and help."
2 - I picked up some takeout at a local steakhouse, and while waiting, spent time at the bar talking to a rather drunk man who claimed he was a mercenary for Halliburton (Ken, if you're reading this... cool.) He appeared to be having a well-deserved drunk. The kind where you admit your true feelings to complete strangers. It was quite interesting, to say the least.
