Of course He doesnt hate minorities and poor people , often in many countries Christians are the minority group and they get persecuted a lot. Look at Nero, Stalin, China, the Middle East. Probably almost every Christian has experianced persecution at some point. some Christians are rich and some are poor. Some are black, some are not. Just like atheists.
Why do bad things happen to good people? Well, when God created the world He created it good, there was no evil. Then the first humans sinned.
Hurricane Katrina is a tragic natural disaster that just happened. It wasnt sent to kill poor people or minority groups.

You are partially correct. The storm killed them, not science. I believe the question was meant as a parody of A) the theists who will rush to their places of worship to pray for the survivors, and B) the theist nuts who claim that Katrina was retribution from god for America "harboring gays".

Leviticus is part of Jewish law, too. Apparently, Christians pick verses out of the Jewish law that they like and ignore the ones that don't seem appropriate for Christianity.

If God hates homosexuals, why did He create male sex organs that make it possible for males to have intercourse? It would have been trivial to create a penis that would only fit in a vagina, like a key into a lock. I guess God loves letting people do things He hates, maybe because He then gets to punish them.

So even though it is sad that people died in New Orleans and some were stranded, with out a creator/God that cares it does not matter.

If there is a Creator/God then he is sovereign and has the right to what ever he wants. If he chooses to let nature(Through the laws of science) make a storm that hits a random place on earth how can that be counted against him, it is not God’s fault and is says nothing about who God love's or hates. We humans made a town in a valley right on the coast.
