Just wondering what kind of seething fundy reaction all you rational thinkers are anticipating in response to this:

Apparently, a rotating nebula about 80 light-years long has been twisted by a strong magnetic field into a double-helix.

Wow, I haven't been to an atheist site today that hasn't mentioned this yet. :)

Whatever the fundies say, I'll just calmly point out to them that the double helix nebula comes closer to confirming Chinese mythology over Hebrew mythology. What, you can't see the two cosmic dragons procreating? It's obvious! :lol:

What, this is a nebula? This obviously has the hand of GAWD in it, another example of divine intervention in the heavens that proves GAWD made DNA. :lol::lol::lol: Never mind that this would be invisible if the scientists had not "created" telescopes, cameras, liquid crystal displays, charge-coupled devices, etc ^5.

Holy crap! You think that the DNA will replicate and evolve, becoming god?! If it becomes a cell, we may have a bit of evidence for Abiogenesis, but if it evolves we may actually have a real god to deal with!!!

I thought this was pretty cool...sort of like God saying, HEY! Look up here! This DNA thing was MY doing!
It's only been in the last 50 years that man has put objects in space, but God's handiwork is so much greater! And to find a galaxy shaped like DNA ... it just goes to show how awesome the Lord is.

yah, half way thru reading the article i realized that the retarded fundies would just use it to fuel their moron-mobile.
and if god made this, wouldn't he of have made it much neater looking? and longer? the one now look's like it was sloppily put together
