You bring up yet another thing that is wrong with fundamentalist Christianity. Many say it's wrong to even think bad thoughts. But how much control do you have over the thoughts that just pop into your head? Sometimes a stimulus will simply trigger a "dirty" series of connections in your brain.

I think the gravest of ALL impure thoughts is that of accepting an irrational neurologically flatulent invisible friend as if it was real!!. It is the "uncleanest spirit" of the schizophrenic kind found in ALL religious beliefs systems. There are NO exceptions. The absence of an invisible friend is the absence of a religious belief which clearly indicates mental healthy, assertiveness and self-confidence. These are found exclusivelly in atheists.
