First id like to say that ive been lurking the sites for a while and reading most topics, but i found somthing that made me decide to join and post...

Was searching Google for the Thoman Payne book "The age of Reason" (lost my last copy :() and i stumble upon this (http://www.divinelove.org/volume1/v1-169.htm) which made me stop and read it, thinking that it had been a sort of last will from TP...

Turns out Mr.James E. Padgett was having visions (introduced how :D) of profits and such and decided to write a set of books entitled:
TRUE GOSPEL REVEALED ANEW BY JESUS, Vols I-IV
(Previous title: Messages from Jesus and Celestials)

He also decided to start the Church of the New Birth (http://www.divinelove.org/) back in the early 1900s and apparently, according to the site, has a huge following today...

They include such treats as:
St.John and the True Meaning of "The End of the World" (http://www.divinelove.org/volume1/v1-25.htm)
and Plato as a Christian (http://www.divinelove.org/volume1/v1-121.htm)...

Honestly i thought people in Christianity couldent get more crazy...

Guess im wrong...doesnt happen often :D
Volume 1 (http://www.divinelove.org/volume1/contents.htm) was all the crap i could stand waiding through.....

So, let me see if I've got this straight. Plato, an ancient greek, was a christian and he signed his letters; your brother in Christ? What?

What this guy was saying is that he would have 'visions'...and in these 'visions' he would be convinced that other 'spirits' would be contacting him, people like Jesus, St.Paul, John the Battiest ect...

And as in the case of Plato and Thomas Payne they gave him their 'letters' of that, even though they didnít believe in a 'god' on earth, they do now that their in 'heaven'...

Just pure propaganda really...
