Chris wanted me to touch base with the membership regarding the errors and lack of availability of the website and forums over the last couple of days.

Seems the spam protection was reduced on the main page's comments section - which, of course, led to RA getting hammered with spam and DOS attacks. Our host had no choice but to shut us down in order to avoid problems with the servers.

We're back up, but you might see one or two more temporary interruptions in service while the Admins and Hosting Geeks work this out.
