Please, this is not a joke. Despite the Animal Protection agencies saying this is cruel for the dogs a "police spokesman" for Tayside UK is quoted as saying: "the dogs may not like it but the will get used to it."

This will only be stopped if enough people protest. If you think this is too stupid to be true check The Freethinker website UK. Even sensible Muslims are protesting against this one.

At first glance it does, in fact, seem too stupid to be true. But then when you remember that a large group of these people blew shit up because of a cartoon, it is not the least bit surprising.

Breaking News. Or should that be breaking wind? One of these dogs is alleged to have farted in a Muslim home. Whether it was wearing dinky little bootees I do not know. The cops are not happy with the publicity and neither are the Muslims. Particulary since the Kennel Club has indicated its displeasure at the distress this may cause the dogs. You can beat the crap out of most people but be careful when you fuck around with dogs. This unites all classes - Brenda (the Queen) owns Labradors and corgies; the workers love their whippets; there are tens of thousands of dogs working as guide dogs, visiting old people, opening fridges for disabled people and often the only companion people have. Muslim houses are just like dog kennels. There is a lot of senseless barking going on. And they are both filled with piles of Shiite.

The real irony of this complaint is that the shopkeepers probably think it's stupid as well, but they fear for their lives if they are not seen as being obedient. They are very vulnerable as shopkeepers, so they become puppets for the ones who threaten them.

I would love to know how to successfully combat the bullying tactics of the Fundamentalist Muslims thugs who perpetuate such rubbish. They make us and our politicians look like fools.

I think one thing to keep in mind is that this entire dog thing will have been blown out of proportion by both the media and the Muslims involved. If you look at the article link I posted; there are some Muslims in the comments section debating whether the Metro article was actually entirely fair. Either way, it's still a completely ridiculous argument and it must be relatively prevalent if the dog picture let to boots being put on the dogs.
