If the God turns out to be Jesus in the throne room with your book of life in his hands - I would say to him
With my rationale brain I couldn't come to believe in you - however a little tiny part of me hoped that there would be an afterlife, and you, or at least a savior like you, existed.
The tiny hope expressed actually supports a very tiny level of belief in Jesus. If you truly didn't believe 100% at all, then you wouldn't waste any effort hoping at all, not even a tiny bit.
