i keep preaching the same thing - PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
we should not expect someone else to pay for things that we use, or to fix the problems that we create.
we should not cause harm (financial, emotional, life-threatening, etc.) to someone else for the actions that we make.
another way of thinking about it is that our "right" to do something comes into question when it starts interfering with the "rights" of others.
our society is growing more and more socialistic.
and that breeds the idea that someone else is gonna take care of it.
i think it is harry truman who was quoted as "the buck stops here".
each and everyone of us needs to be stopping the buck more often than we do.
