It's learned behavior, I assume, but why are we compelled to perpetuate it? And, of course, we know it's supposed to be a grave insult, but why should that be, logically?
It's because in chimp societies the alpha male will have his way with anyone who is insubordinate to him. The "I" is implied in Fuck You. Meaning if you are insubordinate to me then I will have my way with you!
