I was wanting to know, for curiosity's sake, how many of you Atheists out there are married. If you are, I was wondering how you went about doing it, what kind of ceremony (if any) you had, is your partner Atheist or theist, etc. Just wondering, because obviously for the most part marriage is a religious matter.

If anyone else has thoughts regarding Atheists and marriage, please share them.

Don't the fundies say that marriage is a holy institution all the time? That's why we can't let gays get married; it's against God's plan.

Suits me, I'll have a civil union.

The most important thing about your wedding is that you have fun. Are you looking for vow ideas?
