In that case maybe he'd be better suited to writing a blog. The only visitors will probably be a handful of family members but it might be a good way for them to monitor his dementia.

He is one of the more fucked-up passers-by we've had in our little cyber pub of late.
An ex-Catholic, no longer has 'belief systems in God or anything'
He's a christian, trying to emulate Jesus.
Loves the Sermon on the Mount.
He finds a bit of colourful language offensive, irritating and boring - yet joins a 'Raving' forum.
Stuff we don't yet fully understand is 'unknowable'
He's an expert astro-physicist with detailed knowledge of multiple multiverses.
Abortion could be eradicated with proper penis control.
Churches should be taxed, but some should be taxed more equally than others.
.... and he skilfully side steps any question that would show him to be a bit of a dim cunt ....

I haven't got much time today so I'll try to be succinct in response to CreepyJimmy's preaching.

Wanker!

By the way, who is he talking to?

Yew folks should be ashamed! JimmyJerk freely donates his time to come here and preach his sermons, and instead of sitting attentively in yer pews and saying the occasional "Amen!", you attack the poor guy with Satanic barbs and insults and....AHAHAHAHAHAHA, I can't do it......whattamaroon...

I can't stand these friggin' hypocrites! There are so many of these con artists preaching the "word of god" and taking all the parishioners' money for themselves. Tax all the churches AT LEAST 10%, and to the moronic government, use the money wisely! A small tax is better than nothing, but not as good as shutting down most of the churches for their criminal activities and taking all their money.

Not sure if this is a joke or real, but this link suggests Westminster abbey is giving free use to the revenue to praise themselves.
The events will consist of "testimonials, readings and hymns all reflecting the core purpose of HMRC

thank goodness he's on our side

Oh, I'm fucking heartbroken

Quote:
MADISON, Wisconsin - A federal judge in Wisconsin has struck down as unconstitutional a law that gives clergy tax-free housing allowances, in a ruling that could have far-reaching ramifications for religious leaders, who could be facing new taxes which will threaten their ministry.

Under the federal law passed in 1954, a “minister of the gospel” doesn’t pay income taxes on compensation that is designated part of a housing allowance. The Freedom From Religion Foundation, based in Madison, argued that the law discriminates against secular employees.

The benefit saves clergy, including non-Christian religious leaders, $800 million a year in taxes, according to the latest estimate from the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation.

Under the law, housing allowances paid as part of clergy salary can be subtracted from their taxable income.

“This tax provision ensures that faith leaders like South Side, Chicago-based pastor Chris Butler receive the same tax treatment as other employees who must live in the communities they serve-like military service members, teachers, and overseas workers,” Becket - a non-profit religious liberty law firm - said in a press released.

Butler’s Chicago Embassy Church ministers in one of the poorest areas of the city, and Becket said losing the allowance could force Butler to move out of his neighborhood or take up a second job. The firm said it would also force other churches to close altogether.

Oh, that's so sad, those fuckers need to start pulling their weight.

Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

No, not about you being heartbroken - but about rescinding the tax fraud!
