Francis, was Jesus a three in one shape shifter or did he only become one after Nicea?
As Francis defines it, he is anything he needs to be in order to support the ongoing Francis lie.

Good point. That pretty much defines Christianity as well.

The notion of a two part God was first promoted by Paul. I have already stated how the Romans were involved in the trinity

So Christianity turned into something like Hinduism with multiple entities and not just this three in one shapeshifter. If artists were allowed to they probably would have portrayed God with six arms as well.

If Jefferson completely discarded the OT that means you also have to discard the notion of original sin, right?
I think original sin is just a way of saying we are all imperfect. We are all sinners. We are all capable of great evil. I think that is what it means

It is different from Hinduism. It is or it can be simpler.

So you don't discard the notion?

If Jefferson completely discarded the OT that means you have to discard the notion that God created us in his image, right?

Let's face it. Jefferson disliked superstition and thought it was at the root of a lot of problems. He believed that Jesus was a great teacher but also very human and wanted the religious to focus on those good teachings and nothing much else. Sounds like a few atheists I have known. For a man of that time, especially one in public life he was just about as atheistic as one could be.

Not why I stated you were dishonest.
So "it's only wrong when it's someone else doing it" hypocrisy it is, then.

"Not why I stated you were dishonest". You understand we can make the same argument, yes? The difference between you saying we're doing it because we're "irrationally certain" and saying you're doing it because justice or whatever is nothing more than your own hypocrisy.

Michael...you are correct

If we are made in God's image, and observing us nude and unadorned is pornographic, then obviously the same applies to God. No wonder He hides from us, He is a closet porn star! All those folks on their knees every Sunday are feeding God's craving for fellatio and phallic worship.

Let's face it, Jefferson would think Francis is a fucking asshole.

Jefferson used the terms "creator" and "author of the universe". He was not an atheist, but certainly was not a member of any church or congregation. He personally thought a lot of religion was superstition, but he made great effort throughout his life to allow the practice of all religions, their superstitions included.

Thomas Paine was an atheist and said so in his writings. Jefferson believed in a higher power and said so in his writings.
