"Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence." -Richard Dawkins

Woot! Woot! Really neat article! Hoxa1 is involved in neuronal circuitry from what I gathered. I wonder if they are in the same category as Hox. Hox genes are very important in symmetry from what I understand. I have only read bits and pieces about their role in sea urchins and the like, but it seems like cool stuff.

Not much I'm afraid. "That's just microevolution, you can't prove macroevolution." "So what, it's beak got smaller. It didn't create any new organs or become a different species."

Unless we can show these dingbats a worm turning into an elephant within their lifetime, they will never be able to put together the long list of credible evidence to make the concept of evolution.

OK, guys. I'm copying the two links and putting them in the "Most Recent Evidence for Evolution" thread (Science). Any objections and I'll edit them out.
