As foretold in prophecy...

I have found this forum.

Hey, I've seen theists make weirder connections, so I'll ride that train. I'm an atheist from an early age, thanks to parents who taught me to think critically and in a scientific manner. Regular on alt.atheism, veteran of the U.S. Army, drive a truck for living and write role-playing games for beer money.

mmm... beer...

I have no problem with faith, or people having faith. Indeed, during my cancer treatment numerous friends and relatives offered prayers in many different traditions. I accepted those as sincere attempts to give me some sort of aid in a time of crisis. I draw the line at attempts to impose a particular set of religious rules on me with the force of law.

Among other things, I keep a Live Journal where every Sunday I post a heavy metal video.

Such is life.

So, um... hi.

Welcome to the Forum...you'll find plenty mentally healthy ,aka atheists, folks like yourself in this shiny island in the sea of Christ-psychosis.

Christians and other folks infected with delusional beliefs think and reason like schizophrenics or temporal lobe epileptics. Their morality is dictated by an invisible friend called Jesus.

Except for Cal who is, in fact, a complete mentalist.
