I suspect both are edible, but as to whether they are palatable, that would rely on the particular consumer. Again, I've eaten bugs and snakes, but wouldn't do it unless I had to, to stay alive. I don't like the flavors of Spam or Velveeta, but I'd scarf 'em in a heart beat if I was hungry enough.

"Spam - it's like dog food, but for humans!"
I would need to be very, very hungry.
*all kidding aside, I haven't actually had Spam. I once saw it in a can, though, and that was enough to turn me off it. I'm sure it's probably much better to eat than to look at.

Way, way back when I was a smoker, I stopped at a little country store in the village of Domville 'cause I had run out of cigs. At the counter, there were two yokels ahead of me, and they bought a bottle of ketchup and a loaf of Wonder bread. As they were leaving, I overheard one say to the other, "Boy, are we gonna have a feast!"

Hmmm...I wonder what a vegemite porter would taste like.

Wow, that's a mighty contrast to King Harold Godwinson's reign.

That's the problem with the monarchy these days, the don't jump on a horse and charge into battle anymore.

Doesn't Charles jump on a horse named Camilla?
