the wanking hand?
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Obviously yes. They all give me the fear, but some of them are probably still wankers.

So if a person can't wipe their bottom, & bleeding anal warts develop from lack of wiping. Why don't you pray for return of the missing hands when the prayers for anal wart disease remain unanswered?
thank goodness he's on our side

thomas in the spirit of finding some common ground, I trust you noticed two things about my working definition of moral systems:
1) 'suppression of selfishness' is another way of expressing the principal lesson of the New Testament, is it not? and
2) the acknowledgment that there is something most of us are born with that needs fixing (or at least regulating)

Okeh I have to ask, fear of what? All I can come up with is being asked to help out in a public toilet.

So why does he "heal" also those poor suckers who are being conned and robbed at Lourdes where they travel to buy tat and catch more fucking diseases from the water than they started with.

They not only catch diseases wallowing in their filth, they then spread it around Europe.

God really really likes toenails, fingernails, and hair.
It's his thing.
Healthy genes act as team-players. They are teamish!
Their winning plays are salvations of an aliveness of which they are a part.
Only a fraction of genes are selfish/parasitic (and they parasitize teams).

That can be solved by the introduction of a JET of the anal kind.. ..I wonder if Thomas, who loves The Night of the Living Ancient Dead by Matthew so much would submit to the JET-Anal#1
Christians and other folks infected with delusional beliefs think and reason like schizophrenics or temporal lobe epileptics. Their morality is dictated by an invisible friend called Jesus.

I found a website that asks, "Why won't God heal amputees," and here is my answer.
FWD: To whom it may concern,
The process of regrowing a severed limb would be much too painful for
the human mind. The amputee would suffer major shock and trauma during this process, and would probably die or suffer a massive heart-attack. This is why God won't heal amputees. Does God hate amputees, does he single them out, or is it a cruel test of faith? Certainly not, he is avoiding a great deal of pain and suffering by not healing them. When we hear of God curing cancer and many other illnesses, we know he is healing the pain and suffering, not causing it.
Now you may ask, "Why an omnipotent God can't heal an amputee without pain and suffering?" Good question, and here's my answer; God is not going to prove his existence by healing amputees without the pain and suffering it would take to regrow a severed limb. The process would take months, maybe years! Many years of agonizing pain and suffering.. It wouldn't be worth it! You would scream in pain for the process to stop!
