If Mohammed was around at the time of Jesus, Jesus might have lost his head instead. And Christians would be wearing a miniature sword around their necks today.
to the crusaders their swords were crosses....and stabbing a heathen with them would save their soul.

6) He was a horrible procrastinator. Kept on saying "eeehhhh... Maybe I'll write something tomorrow. I'm kind of busy right now, got to make lunch for a bunch of people and all." Of course, when he finally was ready to write something, his hands were nailed to a large hunk of wood. Bummer.

2) writer's block

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

1) He wrote alot! The liberal media just doesn't want you to know about it.

New Topic: Why an Athesit will not be elected President of the US in the near future

10) The public, in general, is too stupid.

Bonus:

9) Atheists, in general, are too smart.

8) It's against the law in many states for an atheist to hold political office.

7) Anyone smart enough to be an atheist would not want the presidents job. They would rather have a position of real power like CEO of Haliburton or the guy who shines Rumsfelds shoes for a crisp dollar bill each morning

That is the same thing as I said in number 9, only elaborated on.

Not really: your implication was that the atheist voters were too smart (which actually made no sense because there was no supplemental information).

Actually I meant that atheists would be too smart to want to be President. I guess I could have explained it better.

Monkey, it's ok, I seriously doubt that anybody cares about the overlap. I know I don't.
