Metaphysics is about the nature of existence, how existence changes and how things continue to exist (am I right)? Applicable to this, yeah. Lily, can you see why people think it's stupid to be reacting like this, though?

Of course I can understand the answer. I asked you a simple question that you could answer with a 'yes' or a 'no', that's all I'm looking for. Is there anything anyone could say to you or show you regarding your cracker that would affect your belief that it is the body of Christ? I don't need to read Aristotle to understand a 'yes' or a 'no'.

Yes, I can see why atheists are reacting as they are. The point is that their objections are foolish and don't change a thing. They don't need to understand. They need to see, once again, why minding their manners and not arousing the passions of others are a good thing. It doesn't matter how logical their point of view is. There are repercussions for folly.

We have, unfortunately, hate crimes legislation in this country which covers the kind of conduct that stupid college dolt engaged in. He could be criminally prosecuted. That for starters ...

No, it is the body and blood of Christ. Yes it retains its properties as bread so chemistry will never detect anything other than what it would detect pre-consecration. Aristotle would help you understand. At least the terminology we use, species, properties, essence, etc.

No one will ever accuse you of intellectual curiosity.
