speaking of consciousness....anybody know where consciousness is located in the brain? Where is it's center, origin or whatever....I cant seem to find any answers on that...and Im sure there's some scientist on this forum that can answer the question....get back at me with that
Well, instead of doing your research for you, how 'bout I point you toward the information where you can learn about cognitive processes and brain structure:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_science

Also, search the web for the works of V.S. Ramachandran. He's brilliant! :)

A statement like, "anybody know where consciousness is located in the brain?" requires research.

Did you check out my link? Don't ignore the fact that I actually did spend a few minutes doing research for you.

Nobody can give you an answer in one sentence, (only the Christ-psychotics could, but those people are insane living in the clouds.)

I suggest you read these:

The astonishing hypothesis by Francis Crick. What's thought, by Eric baum and The Quest for Consciousness by Christof Koch. Also Tenspace is accurate, Ramachandran is brilliant......good luck. You have lots of reading and research in front of you...:)

Dude, we were making emoticons with facial disfigurements long before you could type. Here's my old one before the advent of inline graphics B^) Look at it sideways - that's me with glasses. :)

or the guy sticking his tongue out at you and winking? ;-Þ

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.
H. L. Mencken
