It was a great conference; too bad you missed it. I have no real excuse for not trying a meetup. Getting from place to place is difficult these days and I had to focus on conference details. I didn't go anywhere or do anything but the conference or even meet LA friends of long standing.

Over the years I have visited LA many times for computer conferences, San Fran and San Diego a few times as well.

I promise with my best, most binding promise maker, to let you know if I plan to travel anywhere west of the Pecos.

4 members?!!! Holy diaper gravy of the sweet Christ child! Within a few hours drive from you? We definitely need to work something out. It will have to be a next year thing however. I am locked down tighter than an altar boy's underpants until January.

Santa has a naughty list. And Santa has a nice list. Santa also has a stupid list for "special" children like you. In the spirit of Christmas, I will refrain from emphasizing your pathetic lack of skill in written expression, as I am sure that your elementary school teachers have already exhausted every avenue of redress. At some point, one has to realize that continuing to rub a mutt puppy's nose in her own poo poo is a pointless endeavor.

Although your request for a Christmas surprise is not without precedence, I must confess that Santa finds it exceedingly exasperating that so many children can spend an entire year between Christmases, and in the moment of truth, cannot imagine a single fucking item that they want Santa to hand carry to them in the middle of the bleeding-cold night! But, I will be the first to concede that the children on the stupid list warrant a certain measure of special consideration. I will be happy to fulfill your request for a surprise.

Would it be possible to ascertain if you prefer a big surprise or a little surprise? Santa is sure to be able to provide you with a proper fit in the end.
