aw shucks, cal....don't tell gnosi that....
it's hard enough as it is, and now you add to it with this about her kids.....
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

..well, Gnosi is brilliant and deep inside knows what this insidious neurological anomaly can do to humanity dooming children's minds. It will corrupt, pervert them teaching a deluded immorality under the name Christianity. An upside down thinking distorting axon function. Religious Belief is IMHEO the invisible birth defect nobody seems to see and the more serious one since the retards keep on living causing great destruction to mother earth and all living things. In nature those born deformed will not survive.
I see Christ-psychotics and all people born with brains susceptible to this DAE ( delusion accepting anomaly) as people born with mirror perception. Life is a reflection. To them right is left and viceversa. Religious folks are simply dyslexic their thinking remains in the past making them retarded.
We mentally healthy, folks aka atheists, know very well there is no morality in Christianity, only anachronistic deleterious retardation where primitive deluded schizotypal fantasies become virtuous, moral and intellectual teachings!.
How soon we forget we create gods with our brains and those folks who accept deluded fantasies as if they were reality ( all people of faith and belief- religious) show symptoms of a neurological malfunction. After all 4+4=8 not 6 as they insist.
Christians and other folks infected with delusional beliefs think and reason like schizophrenics or temporal lobe epileptics. Their morality is dictated by an invisible friend called Jesus.

Today at the nunnery there are several asstards with that shit on their faces. I just stop and stare. And stare.
I think I'm making them uncomfortable.
And on a related note, I've given up hope for Lent.

Rumour has it that Ash Wednesday originally had fuck all to do with the christards.
Quote:
I saw a woman with the ashes marking her forehead. “Praise Odin,” I said to her. She looked at me oddly, said nothing, and walked away quickly. I couldn’t blame her; she was probably unaware of the pagan origins of Ash Wednesday. Christianity has pilfered virtually every practice and belief from non-Christian sources, enough so that it’s not unreasonable to ask if there’s an original bone in the Christian body, and Ash Wednesday came from the Norse.

Good ol' Odin - far mor believable than that Zombie jerk.

Somebody claims that the observance devolved from the cremation of Julius Caesar's body. I get the Tropaeum / Cross connection, but I think the connection between putting his ashes in containers on one's head after the cremation and marking the sign of the cross on Ash Wednesday may be stretching it a bit much.
Right. This has gotten to be too silly!

Not stretching it so far at all. An eastern European is very surprised to see the cross thing, it's apparently an English invention & the proper method is to drop a handful on top of the head. Was news to me too.
thank goodness he's on our side

All hail!
Bumping this thread, as it is yet again Ass Wednesday. A fine collection of posts from our list of favorite characters! Also, it's where Lily first reared her scabby trout face.
Enjoy your stroll down Memory Lane

Oh how I wish that I'd been here in the old days when this forum seemed to have more buzz than a hive on coke.
On a more sombre note, not only have I been banned from every fuckin' christard forum from here to eternity and back, I also recently managed to get myself banned from an atheist forum.
WTF?
Do I sound like a fuckin' people person?

On Memory Lane, I'm still torn between 'Scabby Trout Face' and 'Thundercunt'.
The latter probably takes it as The Bovine One seemed so beautifully offended by The Reverand's outburst.

What I have not found is the first time she was called a cow, and why it stuck. "Scabby trout face" is a bit longer, though.

Yehbutnobut all I was doing was telling some nondescript christard what I thought about him and his "ideas". Fuck me, I do that, and worse, face-to-face to christards in the street. Now, FFS, we've got anti-relitard forum mods gettin' all defensive of christards. That said, the mod concerned is an ex-religtard!
Thank fuck for this place is all I can say.
