If I weren't browneyed I would be the greeneyed monster over this. Other than going to the American Atheist convention in 1988, the only other non-believer buddy I've met in person was a militant one who wanted me to carry placards and talk to school principals. In my dilapidated state. All others have been christers, at least nominally.

As to the devide, one of my hobbies is Lego, including going to group builds and conventions. There's a strange concentration of atheists AND the heavily (but not angrily) religious in the hobby as well as such things as heavily left and right wing politics. I'm not exactly sure why.

Another good reason not to work for a religious school. She had to know they were assholes when she too the job and she would be treated like shit for saying sex out loud.

I don't think that she had to know they were assholes, without good experience and at least some understanding of manipulative techniques, Christians seem like good people (if you ignore the bits where they aren't). This could also have been a change in the school's policies, in that it used to be OK for her to talk about certain things, and the school used to be a decent place to work, but then changed.
