Free DVDs! These look like some great lectures. I just ordered mine.

Don't get me wrong, they look interesting and it's cool that they're free, but I don't think I really need them. It's a good find, though.

Thanks DrunkMonkey for that excelent link. I just ordered all 5 of the DVDs and am just hoping they are of decent quality. Ill post a review on some of them when they arrive...

Only free in the US: not the UK :(. Still sounds like that's where they are needed most :rolleyes:

I just ordered 2 myself. At first I thought that they would at least charge for shipping and handling but it turns out that it's entirely free! I wonder how they can afford this.

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute? They donate hundreds of millions of dollars each year to fund medical research. Sending out a few free DVDs would be nothing to them.

I got a friend who lives in CA. He lets me use his address for stuff like this.
Do you know anyone in the US maybe ? so you can you can do the same, and then that person could mail the DVDs to you to the UK.

It takes 2 to 4 weeks to get them- they should be good.
