This is the funny thing about REALITY.
It doesn't give a damn what any human beings believe, not even atheists.
People that believe will ignore reports of phenomenon that contradict their beliefs.
One of the things that I regard as standard equipment in real scientists is curiosity.

Jeebus fucking crisp on a crutch, you ARE serious!!!!
Holy shit.
A) I am a published scientist, so i think I know something about it.
B) MDs know jack shit about scientific methodology, I know, I've tried to teach classfuls of them about medical neuroscience.
C) They aren't required to take any formal training in research methodology in med school, and if they publish, they publish primarily case studies, which by definition can never meet the criteris for causation, as there is insufficient internal validity. (Much like these "studies" of reincarnation).
But hey, I'll try to find a couple of his papers and give you a formal critique if you like. In the meantime, I don't think I'm going to get to excited about one lonely nutter going around with a confirmation bias.

Why do people who know fuck all about science seem to be the ones who talk about it the most? It's like trying to turn out a fine stable of ho's when you're still a virgin.

I don't give a sh!t. Lots of people with degrees in science are published. It's publish or perish.

It is really sad when facts ruin a beautiful hypothesis delusion.
WT3VR, dude. But if you don't want to hear what people think when you propose tripe as legitimate scientific "PROOF", then don't post it.

"Conclusions: In sum, Stevenson does not skillfully record, present, or analyze his own data. If a case regarded by Stevenson to be among the strongest of his cases--the only case of the 20 that had its purported verifications conducted by Stevenson himself--falls apart under scrutiny as badly as the Imad Elawar case does, it is reasonable to conclude that the other cases, in which data were first gathered by untrained observers are even less reliable than this one."
Reality is not a belief. We do not take it on faith, it confirms itself whenever we see physics, chemistry, biology etc. working as predicted by their various empirically obtained rules. - Sternwallow

A scientist these days is just a human being with a science degree. If you want to worship someone just because they have a science degree that is your business. I think for myself. He doesn't even feel he has to bother specifying what area of science the degree is in.
If you want to believe I'm stupid, fine. That doesn't bother me either. I thought atheism was stupid when I was 12 and decided I was an agnostic. Like I have said before, atheists just have egos such that they can't admit that they don't know.
I'm on the planet to do what I please, I decide what I consider to be useful.

Is the worship of people with degrees in science any more intelligent than the worship of the delusional God?
The problem is when the people with science degrees believe and pretend they know more than they actually do. It's only science when you understand it yourself. Even if it is correct and the scientist understands it but you don't then it is not science TO YOU. How can you think for yourself when you don't understand? How is trusting a scientist any different from trusting a priest?
