Perhaps 140(ish) years from now, the world will be able to buy a Sternwallow collection?!

Just what I need, a bunch of variously religious louts licking the back of my head and smashing my face onto crummy cardboard boxes or, worse, Christmas cards!
Still, thank you for your kind words. I do nothing special; I just call a spade a God-damned shovel as I sees 'em.

i would.
errrr, 140 years from now, you say......?
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

In honor of Chucky's birthday, here are some of the Daily Shows greatest hits * on the topic of evolution.
I especially like the Lewis Black take.

Prolly not worth a new thread and I couldn't find another worth bumping - so sod it!
Darwin would be delighted to hear that evolution will now be taught in UK Primary School science lessons.
With the god-squad's policy of "catch 'em while they're young" - is it a bad thing to fight back with 'real' teaching in this way? - I think not.
