Wonderful summaries/synopses Eva and Clambake!
Great pics too Clambake

It was such a great time, I'm still taking it all in. The best part was making new friends, IMO.

PZ was feeling "wrathy" in his cowboy hat. He actually walked through the crowd not more than 10 ft behind us (just minutes before Eva caught up with us) and I scrambled to get my camera and here he is!

I swear to Cthulhu he's behind those guys, big white hat and all dammit!
I'm still mad about this!!!

but we DID leave him....

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Thanks much for the synopsis, Eva, clambake and lostsheep. Sounds like a good time was had by all. Sorry I missed it.

Were you able to meet up with nkb?

Not much time for serious drinking but I went with Boddingtons and Newcastle.

Thank you all for the compliments, I just feel privileged to have been able to be there and am happy to report what I can. Also if anyone is interested in larger sized pictures I can make them available, I shrunk the dimensions by a third so they would fit the forum and not slow things down too much.
