If I recall, Gordon was a nurse - so if this reincarnated retard is in the same line of work, then he probably has at some point studied those biology related subjects.
So, Eyor - are you a nurse?

Why do you want to know so much about me personally or try to know who I am beyond my anonymous nic? You want to have beers together or something? Drop it. It's really none of your business.
Aren't you the moderator? Just ban me and don't worry about whether I've been in this forum before. If you want to discuss things with a dedicated theist, here I am. If you don't want a theist in here debating the existence of God, kick me out; that's your prerogative.

If he wanted to ban you, he would. And why shouldn't we be suspicious that you've posted here three years ago under another moniker? It's not an offense for which you would be banned if that old account was closed, but it speaks to your honesty (or lack thereof) if, indeed, you have posted here before under another moniker, but refuse to admit it now. You could negate everything you've said here previously and not be challenged on the contradictions.
Also, we're not generally here to debate anybody's religion with them. That would be pointless. We mostly observe how theists attempt to defend the indefensible here.

You are mistaken if you think what you are doing is, in any sense, a debate.
Even if you were engaging in reasonable debate, that is seldom a way to discovering the truth of a proposition such as the existence of god(s).
The only way humans have discovered so far to reliably explain phenomena is to evaluate the information (facts) that pertain to them. So, an hypothesis about the existence of god could possibly be enhanced due to the presentation by one side of information previously unavailable to the other side.
So, Mr. Egger, what facts do you have that support god(s) existence while excluding alternative supported explanations?
Note: I expect a theist like yourself to attempt the following to switch the burden of proof over to our side; don't bother. If you want to say that you can't imagine a creation event by natural forces or you aren't satisfied of the natural explanation for some phenomenon like courage, that is not information in favor of your side of the proposition, but a confession of your personal mental inadequacy.

Personally, I don't give a flying fuck about Eyor's personal crap (he's obviously got more than enough shit to worry about), but some folk here may be interested to know if they're 'debating' with someone of honesty and integrity - or just another devious, lying, simpleton prick. I know where my bet's going.
Strange how we always find that honesty & theists never sit well together don't you think?

Kind of like choirboys and priests! An uncomfortable union where one side is constantly worried about being shafted.

Frankly, I think atheism turns people into monsters--but that's me. Mind you, I had a look at some of the posts in the General Discussion area, and I must say I think you all make my case. Nevertheless, I'm here to do a lot more listening than talking.
I'm a longtime veteran of these debates; however, I've been out for a few years, so I'm interested to see how things have changed. I get the feeling there are no longer any theists in this forum, and it looks like the atheists here have lost all ability to actually debate or even discuss the possibility of God's existence.
Be that as it may, I'm writing a book on the subject, so I'm interested in what the modern radical atheist is thinking. I think this is the forum in which to find that out.
See ya 'round.

What do you mean by god? What is your definition? Where is your evidence for that definition?
Let's go. Tell me and then we can debate.

Sweet Hsaman (Or however the fuck you spell your DA handle) is that you? You're just a fucking glutton for punishment ain't ya?
Nah, can't be. Egor hasn't once called someone "violent" for dropping the F bomb.
Remember boys and girls! Whipping disobedient women = good and righteous. Telling someone to fuck off = evil and violent.

Also stoning disobedient children = good and righteous
Insulting parents = evil and violent.
Well, there is a certain kind of logic there.

Hmmm....I'm curious, is coming on Raving Atheist forums and announcing you believe in God some sort of initiation thing theist groups do? Y'know, like being 'jumped' into a gang.
BTW, I think I remember now where I heard Egor's words before. They were often used to describe blacks in pre-Civil War America.

I think for some ambitious christian types they come here on a crusade. They want to convert us. What they don't do, of course, is discuss in the sense of exchanging opinions, attempting to persuade by offering facts and certainly never changing anything they already have decided is true. Their approach is to endlessly repeat mantras culled from their bible and appear oblivious to it being demostrated that their bible is: contradictory, brutal, savagely tyranical and reveals their god to be a monster.
They are deaf to new information and smugly satisfied with their belief in what is so obviously nonsense. The application of some ordinary common sense, never mind anything more demanding, makes that clear. They appear to lead narrow, bigotted and miserable lives and are always ready to condemn anyone who diverges from their impossible beliefs.

Ghoulslime, please. Do you really think, even from just the few posts of mine that you've read, that such an ad hominem attack matters to me in the slightest?

It's cute how you talk about ad hominem attacks when in your original post you called us all monsters. And of course, since we say bad words and insult you, that must mean we're wrong about everything.
Honestly, it's been a little while since I lurked here and I barely made it half way through the first page before I was sick of it. It just gets so old. You're obviously not interested in learning anything.

The christian attitude, at least amognst the more fundamentalist, is that it is entirely acceptible to say whatever they choose, and that includes the most vile insults, about atheists. Like many others here I have been consigned to a future eternity in hell by a christian drooling with delighted anticipation because I refused to "accept Jesus" and, worse, said why. However, even a mild, certainly by comparison, attack on a christian and they become very upset. We see this clearly with the attacks on Professor Richard Dawkins. Because he has the temerity to state his atheist views, with force and candour, he is reviled by the christian zealots. And what they don't find in him to attack they invent.

You know, I used to get annoyed with the people on this forum who would cuss out and insult the theists who showed up because I thought they were hurting our "cause." But after lurking for a while, I completely understand the reactions theists get. Mostly I'm amazed that some people here are actually still trying to engage theists in reasonable conversation.
This is an atheist community where people vent, a lot. If you come in here spouting the same inane shit that we've heard thousands of times before, this is the reaction you get.
The funny thing is if Egon met many of us in real life, he would probably find that we're lovely people. Of course, he would be unlikely to ever find out about our atheism, because I don't know about the rest of you, but I keep that shit under wraps until I get the feeling someone would be open to it.
