So I'm watching TV news coverage of the goings on in Ferguson. A reporter is interviewing a black woman about her experience with local police. She is mother to two boys, ages 10 and 11, one of whom got caught shopliftng a snickers bar. Local law is that a ticket is issued, which must be paid within a certain timeframe, or an arrest warrant is issued. The kid, fearing punishment, hid the fact of the ticket from his mom, so it went unpaid. In the wee hours of the morning, police battered down the door to their home, and with guns pointed at the kids, arrested the mom, and placed the boys in detention for a month.
This is justice for stealing a snickers bar.
If you are a crooked bankster and steal hundreds of millions by fraud, the President will bail you out, and from the bailout funds, you will get a huge bonus.
Unbelievable, isn't it! A kid steals a Snickers bar, and the SWAT team arrives. Steal MILLION$ and get a huge BONU$!
This is American justice?
