Good news?

Well, if this isn't a sign, I don't know what is - yesterday, the JW's rang the doorbell! Yes. Fortunately (for them) my SO answered the door, and after a brief, not unpleasant exchange, they went on their way, having left us a little leaflet, which announced that THEY HAVE DISCOVERED THE INTERNET! Their Website, JW.org, offers translations of the Babble. Why this should be necessary is puzzling. If the god guy wants us all to read his vanity published ghost written book, why in hell doesn't he just implant it in everyone's brain in whatever language they understand? After all, he is Omnipotent and Omnipresent. Is he so stupid he isn't aware of his own powers? And why did these deluded souls have to traipse from door to door, when god could have just had a pop-up ad on everyone's tv and computer screen advertising the website of one of his less favoured sects?
For an all-knowing, he sure is stupid. Oh, wait - I forgot, his ways are mysterious and beyond our comprehension. Guess we'll just have to keep on trusting the theologues to tell us.

Our local Craptists might at last be getting the message.
I wound down the window as I almost flattened two old biddies on the drive - gave them a serious Git-stare - they fucked off with no words exchanged. Twats.

Plus, you're supposed to have faith, because the god would rather have irrational people in heaven.

Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

It certainly is - but a highly publicised court case with the erudite Mr Fry defending himself against The Lard could have been highly entertaining.
