At least the kool-aid couldn't stain because it would be clear.

Wouldn't all that water in the middle of the DNA dissolve the sugars that form the helix's loadbearing structure, leaving us with nothing more than DNA-flavored Kool-Aid?
DNA flavored Kool-Aid is the worst kind of Kool-Aid there is. Well... next to pig-urine flavored Kool-Aid anyway.
Is it worse than Jim Jones flavored Kool-Aid? How about Electric Kool-Aid for an immediate buzz?

Nobody denies that water is present in DNA. Water is present in all cells. But it does not "fill the center" or any junk like that. The article you posted talked about DNA that's been hydrated - that means they artifically added water to the sample. :)

Read Matt Ridley's "Genome" if you would like an honest take on DNA.

check out http://www.dhmo.org if you want to learn more about water. :)

I still don't see how hydrated DNA has anything to do with this altered water shit.

What about how this altered water somehow causes more water to enter cells by osmosis? Any muppet can see that changing the body's osmotic balance is a Very Bad Thing Indeed.

Osmosis allows the changing of the water with impurities to be removed and replaced with new water.
The altered water has an extra electron or two, which releases energy.

Do you have any idea how bad extra free electrons would be for the cell? They would reduce everything. What would this "energy" do anyway? Make your cells feel "refreshed and invigorated"? Hardly. If this were the case the stuff would probably kill you. Why do you continue to defend this bullshit?

Is it just me, or would an "extra electron or two" cause the water molecule to become somethine else entirely? And as DM stated, become something potentially lethal?
