Waka waka waka!

Hey folks, NoeL here (pronounced no-el, not nole)... I'm an atheist, I like talking to theists about their belief (not sure how many I'll find here). Matt Dilahunty is a big inspiration for me...

... but rather than make this a boring intro thread, where I introduce myself and then the forum regulars proceed to post a series of "Welcome to the forum! " messages, I want you all to ask me a question (either about me, or anything in general) if/when you reply to this thread, yeah?

Welcome me!

Hey there NoeL. So, how long have you known that you didn't fit in with "normal" god-fearing/ass-kissing society?

@ Phil: Yes... yes I have. Feel free to worship me.

@ Cap'n: Living in predominantly secular Australia, and having no parental inforced affiliation with the Church after I was five or so (went to Christian daycare as a toddler), what I consider "normal" ass-kissing society isn't terribly god-fearing. I didn't really have any Christian friends until university, and she won't talk to me about her faith anymore because last time it came up I pretty much pointed out how full of shit it is...

But for whatever reason (I can't even remember) I found the Creation vs Evolution "contraversy" intriguing, and since then have broadened my scope to include other philosophical "proofs" of God... it's hilarious

I'll give it a try. The first one looks a lot like a red X and the rest look like his twin brothers. Am I right?

I wasn't sure about the third X. Could be his sister, very androgynous looking, hard to tell.

Damn. I can't see them any more. Did twitpics block us?

Oh well, it was Bohr, Blair, Campbell, and Soledad Vela. I was trying to gauge Noel's profession or major.
