The United States is not a Christian Country

Even John F. Kennedy, a devout Catholic, did not allow the church to influence him, and even stated that he considered it rude.

What's ironic is that people feared Kennedy would use his religious belief in running the country. Today, people expect a president to do so. How times have changed in a mere 40 years.

I would like my fellow atheist to ask a question to Christians.
“Where did the democratic ideals (in which the United States) based their ideals on come from?”
