I almost wept for the poor fuckers when I read this sad little piece.

Quote:
Amongst other things, the article wrote
Radical plans to reform and modernise the Church in Wales are needed to secure its future ....
very low morale ....
dire seriousness ....
decline in clergy ....
falling congregations ....
a surplus number of churches ....
small parishes are no longer sustainable ....
.... but I soon got better.

That fills my heart with warm, happy fuzzies.

Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

Yup, these grass root yarns show what normal folk are thinking about their historical horseshit - the stories & stats paint the same picture of decline. Unfortunately, the tosspots running the country didn't get the memo. We're still trying to throw frocked fuckers out of our highest house of government, we hand millions to lying con-men to run 'faith' schools and our demented head of state is still the 'defender of the faith'. We'll have to battle for a good few generations to finally see the back of God's Bollocks.

Hmm – who’s the current cat herding champion?
A well worded e-petition might get enough sigs to bring on a Commons airing, but I’d judge a joint attack via the NSS or the BHA is more likely to make the ruling toffs listen to us scummers. We’ve got plenty of time to come up with some decently crafted anal probing questions. Post ‘em on here and I’ll gladly liaise with Terry Sanderson at the NSS – if I live that long.

A lot of people tick the religion they were born with. How about a multiple choice census q as to what us prols actually believe or don't. The tosspots take validation after all from idiots who don't even think about what they put their name to. If they were made to say yes or poo poo to an actual sky beast we might get a more sensible return.

thank goodness he's on our side

Looks like the shitstains at the CofE are nowhere near making their stupid minds up, but it does look as if the ass-wipe Sentamu is unlikely to become chief fuckwit.
Quote:
John Sentamu, the charismatic Archbishop of York, appears to have been snubbed in the hunt for a successor to Rowan William, amid claims that church leaders are in "deadlock" and could take months to nominate a new Archbishop of Canterbury.
I haz an idea – leave the position vacant, fire all cuntenders for the job and I’ll wager nobody will notice any difference.

Why not appoint Richard Dawkins?

A theist is just an atheist with a space in it.

It looks like our dribbling church elders are homing in on their new head retard, and like 99% of the world's population, I've never heard of Justin Welby, "a man of prayer, deeply spiritual." Sounds like a regulation twat of the highest order.

Quote:
"conservative on the issue of gay marriage" and was "absolutely in favour of women bishops, but strong on protecting the position of traditionalists in the Church".
So we can look forward to a fresh round of gay-bashing from his cronies in the House of Lords and I don't think there's much chance of the ridiculous organisation disestablishing itself - but we can always pray hope for a miracle.

Wow, he was an oil executive, that makes me even more biased towards him... plus, he's creepy:

Nice miter, Your Whateverness. Who designed that; Pink Floyd, maybe?

Also, the hook on that crosier looks like an umbrella handle.

Saying that atheists hate God is like saying that teetotalers are alcoholics.
