Life on Europa?
I was just watching a Discovery HD special on Jewpiter a couple nights ago. In it, a very excited Neil deGrasse Tyson talked about how he wanted to "go ice fishing on Europa," due to the possiblity of life under the surface.
Looks like Russia is going to beat us to it.

If anyone would corner ice-fishing in remote points of the solar system it would be Russia. Or possibly Canada.

Well Russia may get there first but I'm willing to bet they consume the vodka supplies before the pressurized ice shed is even up...

It was just embellishment by Tyson to show how excited he is about it.

if i needed proof of fish in europa, i would go fishing in europa...
hope they find a vodka volcano there too, to replenish their supplies. and if they do, i would change my relign to Flying Beef Stroganoff Monsterianism.
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Yeah, but before going all the way there (kind of a long drive, you know?), I'd like to get some idea of the fish population first. That's it! We should send a robotic Fish Detector! Brilliant!

Yup,, they are building a tiny submarine which is going to be inside ice boring machine going ,many meters under the crust then activated to search for life.
Christians and other folks infected with delusional beliefs think and reason like schizophrenics or temporal lobe epileptics. Their morality is dictated by an invisible friend called Jesus.

Not just fish? Oh, ok, I guess that'd be all right, too.

Praline: (whistles a bit, then) Hello. I would like to buy a fish license, please.
Postal clerk: A what?
Praline: A license for my pet fish, Eric.
Clerk: How did you know my name was Eric?
Praline: No, no, no! My fish's name is Eric. Eric fish. He's an halibut.
Clerk: What?
Praline: He is an halibut.
Clerk: You've got a pet halibut?
Praline: Yes, I chose him out of thousands. I didn't like the others, they were all too flat.
Clerk: You must be a loony.

Yes, it WAS time for a little humor.
Seriously, though, if there are fish found there, who want to go on a fishing trip to Europa?
I'm in!
