A jifter is basically a useless cunt. someone who never follows through with something, usually for a really lame reason (I'm sorry I didn't pick the kids up from daycare, I was having a wank). You couldn't find it because I made it up some time ago.
You can always turn tricks for a few extra bucks. If looks are an issue, there's the glory hole option, but don't expect more than ... tips.
