I used to argue with my sister about this. On Friday, November 4th, if someone refers to "next weekend," I'm thinking 11/12~11/13. 11/5~11/6 is "this weekend."

I reckon we should adopt the standard UK Morning Glory scale of measurement. Works like clockwork for me.
I like this idea. it can also double as a sun dial as a fall back.

Sheesh, we have to keep buggering about with time – why can’t we just let things run their course and get rid of clocks altogether?

Adjusting the clocks wouldn't be necessary but the Earth rotation keeps slowing down and will soon be outside the "perfect zone for human life" that the theists continue to cackle about.

The atomic clock is accurate to within one second in 1.5 Billion years. It took our Moon only a few Million years to stop rotating (wrt Earth) altogether.

If it's dark, get up, if it's light go to bed, if you're hungry kill something, if you're randy get off.

Einstein's theory is proved

Looks like you’ll live longer in your mom’s basement.

The world's most accurate clock has neatly shown how right Albert Einstein was 100 years ago, when he proposed that time is a relative concept and the higher you live above sea level the faster you should age.
90 billionths of a second in 79 years?! – how many beers is that?

I wonder how many more billionths of a second I can get by always laying on the ground in my mom's basement.

Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.
