Atheist Prime Minister Soon.
With all due respect to Jobby, the Tory arselicker Clegg will never lead the country unless Cameron falls off his horse. The best he can do is put a stick in the wheel of right wing excess, like foxhunting & hanging immigrants.
I give the shotgun marriage 6 months.
On a brighter note we could see the birth of New New labour under the atheist son of a Marxist

I think I've been listening to too much BBC lately - I understood every word of that.

I don't see a rush of prominent Labour politicians to join the race against Milliband.
Jack Straw's a heathen bastard but has declared himself unworthy.
Was it something we said?

You. Your comments about the Lib/Dem and Tory "shotgun marriage" and Labour's power vacuum.

Labour is in a very very strong political position at the moment. If the Tories/Libs cannot come up with at least a half dozen EASILY provable successes over their 5 year term, ( I belive in miracles you sexy thing), then Labour, without the Blair/Brown noose that has been so unpopular recently will likely recieve a majority circa 1997. However. Get those obvious successes, ad remember Afghanistan is likely to draw to a close, the economy will start to grow well again etc, and Labour are pickled. Mainly due to about 65% of the electorate championing the new politics that they let go.
The biggest problem for the coalition is not Labour, they have a 5 year breather from worrying about them, it is if political interest starts to effect egos within the coalition and public support favours one or another more than someone else. I mean , can you imagine if Cameron begins to get plaudits that Clegg feels should be his? Vince cable doesn't get his share of economy plaudits. I cannot wait to see what happens there.

Will we see the lib/dems as the great moderators forever, a guiding conscience commanding a stagnating veto? I fear they will be obliterated in the polarisation of the next round, they should have remained independently aloof & commited to PR, as the Tory's will surely shank them. It will end in tears.

Seems to be history, but I do stupidly think that Cameron actually gains a lot from being alongslide Clegg. This really can go a number of ways. All or nothing as the saying goes.

Is my country falling apart at the religious seams?
First the deputy Prime Minister - now the Leader of the Opposition.

With the slimey phoney Tony B'liar going in the opposite direction and kissing Ratzy's ring, it is interesting to compare the apparent 'trend'(?) in the UK, that religious affiliation is not a requirement for political progress - to that in Merkinland where such a thing would I guess, be growled upon. When are you buggers going to see the non-existent light?

It's gonna be a while.
Congrats, though, on shedding the stupidity, bit by bit.

Well Labour fucked up with red ed didn't they ? Do they never want to win power again? Not only has he split the party now, ( and good because after the liberals and the Tories Labour are next on my "what a pointless bunch of tossers" list) between those that wouldn't mind being elected again, and those so stupidly left wing that Fabio Capello should get down there and have a look at them, but he looks like a complete sap. Cameron must be laughing his socks off. In 3 years time the economy will be picking up sharply and Eds stand against cutting the defecit will be worthless. Of course the coalition could crumble and Eds Labour could get in on the wave of being new and radicle ( lol), then we could look forward to the rich still being rich, the poor being mostly lazy and the middle classes getting squeezed at every turn. Kind of what we have now.

"The poor being mostly lazy?"
So there are folks in Britain who like shitting on poor folk for sport, too?
Somehow I thought that was a mostly American predilection. We despise poor people in the U.S., but I thought better of the British when it came to having some compassion for the downtrodden.
