Truth to tell, so do I. His mother must be close to 100 and is sharp as a tack. She looks good for another 50 years, too.

Possibly. Teenagers who want to get married have been known to do it. Poor kid, she has latched onto a hunk and it seems pretty clear that he is in no hurry to marry!

I can think of a half dozen more scenarios, as well-- all drawn from real life. The least likely reason for her pregnancy is ignorance.
