Greetings!
Hello im RªVΣn!
Just joined today...you all probably dont care but i'll share a couple things about my self. I am a 23 year old female, been agnostic all my life until the age of 18. Even though having religious catholic parents, i always wanted truth or someone to show me that there is a god. The bible stories all kinda made me laugh and though reading over half of the bible as a young child...I never found any of them to be realistic.
Had a normal childhood, grew up on a nice farm in Wisconsin. Also have one brother who is catholic. I have a very catholic family, wich makes this very hard for me specially since they are full blooded german...i'm the black sheep of the family. I don't like discussing the subject of religion with them, it makes me uneasy and i want to just fuckin shake them when they tell me they pray for me or jesus works in misterious ways....Sooo I kinda keep my thoughts to myself, you can never turn someone who is that far in the spell.
Anyways ...that's pretty much it nothing really interesting.

yes they can be turned. oh yes.
and welcome to our humble forum!
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Welcome Raven - your family sounds pretty similar to mine. They're all uber-christians.

Hey, Raven. Congratulations on keeping your head in spite of being raised in such an overtly religious environment. Way to go.
