I'm from Ontario and find more interesting the suggestion that this man should go to a catholic school to find religious instruction for his children. Ontario is one of a number of provinces in Canada that still publicly funds catholic schools.

I think it's appaling to fund a school system that teaches children that:

-the world is 6000 years old
-zombies walked the earth
-you can't wear clothes of more than one material
-penises must be sawn a bit before men are truly taken to be seen in the perfect image of god

Thoughts?

Regardless, I'm interested about the UK. You have that cross-communal schooling right? And they have mandatory collective worship right? Are there any schools that are devoid of that? Or would they be breaking the law if they did do away with the worship time?

generally what this group is fighting about is somewhat prevalent in the UK but it is also throughout the UK largely ignored by the populace- so we are a confusing bunch (and prefer it that way)
