It's not more logical at all. I mean even if you open up 'creator' to all possibilities. I mean if the universe needed a creator, then that creator needs a creator. And the creator of the creator would need a creator ad infinitum.
For example Magic universe creating pixies. If they existed, who made them? Magic magic universe creating pixies creating pixies? Then who made them? Magic magic magic universe creating pixies creating pixies creating pixies?

Pixies all the way down instead of turtles?
Pre-Einstein, when some audacious soul amongst the mouth breathers in the congregation had the temerity to ask where God came from, the response was, "Oh, He existed FOREVER".
Post Einstein, that became, "God exists OUTSIDE OF TIME AND SPACE."
Problem: God creating the Universe is an activity. An activity requires a time and location. Therefore, said activity would not be possible outside of time and space. Time to invoke good ole MAGIK again!
My elderly Mom stayed with me for a time due to a severe ice storm which left no heat or hydro in her home. One day, the topic of religion came up. "What - you don't believe in God" she exclaimed. "Then where did everything come from?"
I replied, "Where did God come from?"
Silence for a while, and then this strange look came over her face, as if a dim light was getting brighter. The topic never came up again.
