Fucking hell, I called Ghoulslime a paedophile, applauded Dr Choobs's suspension, have spoken out long and loud about Tenspacegate when everyone else seemed to want the matter to quietly disappear, and am forever criticising the mods (even when they've not done anything wrong).

I have a great many character flaws, but being afraid to stand up and be counted is not one of them.

That you took this to mean I was back-stabbing, rather than commenting on a potentially amusing oddity about Professor's list, speaks only of your persecution complex rather than my cowardice. Get a fucking grip.

Well it's not that funny. As you know your Uncle Phil is all about freedom of expression. Paradoxically, our Wild West approach to forumizing can sometimes thwart such freedoms. Take, for example, those members who might be reluctant to bother expressing themselves because of the inevitable deluge of non sequitur posts that often smother otherwise "serious" threads. Thus the original TFT was intended to accommodate freedom of expreshy, not to quash it.

The astute reader will note I characterized that thread as a "test" when it was launched. How'd we do?
