Do you really think you can convert the human race into a majority of atheist zealots? What does any of this have to do with science? Naturally, Myers does not respond to or present these questions for discussion. The reason is because he knows that the Darwinian model is a flaming disaster, but he is unwilling and unable to consider the only alternative, a guided, planned evolution which I believe has now ended.

I doubt if any of you will respond to these questions either and for exactly the same reason. You CANNOT and so you don't. It is as simple as that. You were destined from conception to be incapable of changing your minds.

It has been Dr. Davison since 1954 and I have no intention of withering away quietly. I intend, as Dylan Thomas advised his dying father, to "rage, rage against the dying of the light." Now just what the hell do you think you can do about it? There is only one thing you can do and that is to banish me from this dog and pony show. There is not a shred of evidence for either true speciation or the formation of any new higher taxonomic categories. There hasn't been a new genus in two million years. I have repeatedly asked for examples of true speciation including the mechanism by which the new species was produced and its immediate ancestor. I have never received a satisfactory response. In the meantime tens of thousands of species and hundreds of genera have become extinct never to be replaced.

So, those letters of discussion exchanged between Bohr and Einstein mean nothing to you? It led to the fucking electronics revolution, you asshole. I could provide a huge list for your perusal, including, say, the debate on the scale of the universe (Shapely, Curtis, 1920), the Huxley-Wilberforce debate on evolution (1860), or more recently, the Berners-Lee/Hendler debate on scientific publishing on the internet (Nature, 2001), but I will no longer dedicate time to countering your senile ramblings.

Your weblog articles start off as cogent, intelligent postings, but quickly devolve to to the rantings of a man completely out of touch with modern molecular biology. I find humor in the fact that I know more about evolutionary theory than a trained zoologist.

Myers won't answer your questions for the same reason a high-school science teacher stops answering a belligerent, disruptive student who keeps asking, "Why is the sky blue?" It's because, after explaining about spectrums and absorption and light scattering and wavelengths and electromagnetic energy, the teacher realizes that the student is an attention-whore who could care less about real answers.
