That was amazing.
Interesting, too, the reaction from the guy speaking. He made a negative point passionately, yet was fully willing to laugh his ass off at the response.

That's what those in the biz call "scientist hair". You're actually supposed to style it like that as part of your tenure review.

Does the black guy berating Dawkins realize that what he said has been repeated endlessly? And why does passion and a devotion to the truth equate to fundamentalism? Dawkins simply states the obvious and no amount of sympathetic rhetoric is going to change the inanity of their beliefs. Honesty is the only means of fighting dangerous theism and Dawkins engages in this as well as anyone.
And of course, Dawkins is also practical as evidenced by the wonderous last line.

Fucking brilliant. I too hope to have hair like that one day. I've just finished reading A Devil's Chaplain and can't help laughing every time I read his eulogy for W.D Hamilton. For anyone who hasn't read it, Dawkins alleges that the cause of W.D Hamiltons many bicycle accidents was his grey hair that caused many a motorist to miscalculate. They just couldn't believe a man with so much gray hair could possibly cycle so fast.

Don't feel lonely. Some time ago I felt a little despondent and I let my hair down. Now I can't get it back up again.

The black guy is Neil deGrasse Tyson.

By the way, thanks for the link, Smelly. I ended up staying up all night, watching videos from Beyond Belief 2006, mostly Sam Harris, but also some others.
I thought Neil deGrasse Tyson's presentation on Un-Intelligent Design was good (even though his delivery was kind of weak). I don't have the link right now, and don't have access to YouTube from work, but I will post it later (unless someone beats me to it).
